All stormtracking needs are now included in the mobile system.
GRLevel3 Doppler radar imagery and SPC/NWS information is
provided via a Verizon Wireless card. GPS is plotted on the radar
screen and GPS doubles to funtion with Delorme navigation. The image to
the left shows a dot in a circle (my location) next to a harmless
shower. No getting lost, always knowing my location in relation to the
danger part of the storm, and knowing my exact location makes for
powerful and safe stormtracking in the field! |
