 | Charlie Neese is well known in Middle Tennessee as one of NewsChannel 5's meteorologists, but many are unaware that he also enjoys storm chasing. Charlie's interest in weather began when he was around the age of 9. Charlie graduated from Fairview High School, and went on to graduate from the University of Tennessee at Martin with a Bachelor of Science degree in Broadcast Communications. Then, he earned his certification in Broadcast Meteorology from Mississippi State University. Through his career, Charlie has worked at TV stations in Jackson, TN, Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Cape Girardeau, Missouri, and is now back home in Nashville, TN. Charlie is a member of the American Meteorological Society and the National Weather Association. He recently earned the NWA Broadcast Seal of Approval. |
