Currently not in use, this was the first weather radar.

This is the NWS of Norman, OK Doppler Radar tower that is currently in use across the nation at other NWS offices.

This is the newest weather radar technology being tested by the NSSL called Phased Array Radar.

Here you can see the organizations affiliated with the new Phased Array radar.  It will probably be several years before this radar system is used nationwide.
